Fine place to stay - but no honeymoon

A little further down the road than many of the guest houses, but nothing on La Digue is "far". It's definitely a small-time family operation: the family lives right next to you. Our room was pretty new and very clean. The AC was great and it had a fridge. Outside, you're basically in the family's yard, with the kids bikes and toys. Family is friendly, but not overly so. Although, he did give us a discount at the end as I was paying(!?) In short, it was a fine place to stay for seeing the island. But it's not a romantic or atmospheric get away.

This simple, family run guesthouse is a good choice to spend a few days in la Digue. Clean rooms have air conditioning and fridge and Mrs Adrienne cuisine is abundant and truly creole. Management is very kind and helpful, they'll came and pick you up at the jetty and will provide you bikes. That's all you'll need to go around: few pleasant minutes and you'll be in anse Source d'Argent beach .
