Grosvenor House Hotel

I stayed at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Skegness from Monday 11th until Friday 15th August 2008, bed and breakfast and evening meal. Sea view single room which was great and the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I'll definitely go back next year and if I get any spare cash, will be going twice!! The hotel has a good position on the front and is close to attractions and the shops; I can only recommend it to you.

My biggest beef with the hotel was the amount of hospitality we received...Nil...The owners seemed indifferent to my husband and I. We were one of two guests and you would have thought they would've rolled out the red carpet..Not! We received a chilly reception from the twins...Half assed smiles and not much conversation. Breakfast time was the same....
And the room! Large....however..They shut off the hot water at night and didn't turn it back on until eight the next morning! I like a shower earlier than that so I was out of luck! And you had to be a contortionist to reach the toilet paper dispenser! The bed had soiled under carriage and stained sheets in places which leads me to believe they must have very few seeings we were one of only TWO rooms they had to refresh!
And the other guest were friendlier than the hosts! With exception of course for this old man I said good morning to and he glared at me! How rude!
Well needless to say I wont be staying there again!

owners hospitality was mediocre..

I really enjoyed my stay at the GROVENOR HOUSE in Skegness. The hotel patrons were very accommodating and pleasant and made me feel as if I were in my own home! The food was first class and the beds were heavenly to sink into at night after and exciting day of exploring...I would recommend it to anyone!
