The Greenhouse Guest House

I was amazed to read the other persons review as we had a wonderful stay at the Greenhouse about 5 years ago and since then loved it so much we have been back every year. Philip and Sarah who run the B&B with their two small children look after your every need and Sarahs homemade jams and marmalade at breakfast is superb plus you must try the full English with Poached eggs!! My wife is vegetarian and tells me the veggie breakfast is to die for!! The rooms are beatiful, high ceilings with lovely victorian coving and decorative features, they are clean and bright and even come with flat screen digital tvs. The B&B is in the centre of one of the most spectacular villages in England. As for the price it is excellent value for money at around 56 pounds a night for a double room with breakfast.

We stayed at the greenhouse when we visited the area for a wedding. The guesthouse was one of the few in Bamburgh but was one of the highest rated. The room was a decent size and well furnished and clean. The couple who ran it seemed pleasant and the breakfast was reasonable, so we would definatley stay there again from that perspective.

However, the guesthouse was very expensive compared to comparable or better B&B's elsewhere. Maybe this was because of the location, but I wouldn't pay that amount again unless we had to.
