Detailed review
This is a strange place, it's several old converted houses which makes it very windy for a start (a bit like the fun house at the fair in places!!) The guy at reception can be a miserable so and so and insists on having the key when you leave but the friendly bar staff (and lovely old bar) more than make up for it. The buffet breakfast is OK (if you avoid the beans, which were the worst I've ever tasted). Rooms are 'cheap and cheerful' (a lick of pain wouldn't go amisss along with a bed which had a mattress the same size as the base) but for price, location and sheer eccentricity this is worth a go as long as you don't expect high quality.
Great bar Convenient Location
Basic Miserable guy on reception
