Good Place

Katriya is good place to stay in Hyderabad, this is one of the best, staff are helpful, service is good, rooms are nice and fresh …
But they need to work on entrance of the hotel because I thought I was entering in to some small hotel, the right from the drive way, its very huge, I felt this hotel is going to charge me a bomb, but rates are very reasonable, food is good, I recommend it to all.

Katriya Hotel & towers is very nice hotel in Hyderabad, I found for the pricing what they provide is best, their breakfast is super, they have free internet, if I stay in other hotel & pay for internet it will cost me bomb. Net is little slow but acceptable. Their housekeeping is best in the hotel. Their coffee shop service is slow, they need to work on this, but they very nice restaurant called Kuchipudi, food is little spice, but I enjoyed. Overall I can say Katriya is nice to stay... for every one .

WORST HOTEL EVER IN MY LIFE

Dear Sir/Madam,

I and a few others experienced a very very very BAD stay at Katriya Hotel & Towers in Hyderabad (Somajiguda)

While we were there...the hotelstaff (housekeeping & frontoffice manager) had stolen foreign currencies from a few guest. Now...before blaming anybody like this..we ran into an ex-worker of this hotel and he said the following.

The executive manager Mr. Soma Raju often obeys his staff to keep an eye on the 'rich' Western customers. So from front-office managers to housekeeping knows exactly who stays in each room. The safes are being locked by the reception and front-office manager. 3 Times € 1000,- was stolen from the safe by the hotelstaff. The ex-worker said: from housekeeping to management staff..wherever they see money they take it and split it among eachother. Then the executive says: you better proove that ur money was stolen from our safe and nothing will be done. The ladies from the housekeeping arent searched when leaving the hotel but the guys are. So the ladies are the only one who can steal money and put it in their bra. (according to the ex-worker)
Astonished to loose so much money, there you have this sick problem that you should PROVE that ur money was stolen. There were major investigations, security (from the hotel) was checked. It all leads to nothing. The 8 customers were blamed for 'cheating' and never got their money back or some kind of complimentary upgrade. We were treated like criminals while we saw the housekeeping maid splitting the euro's (outside the building) between herself and her co-workers.

A few ladies also were complaining that the housekeeping staff (women) displaced stuff, jewellery were stolen, perfume was being used etc and this happened with 5 customers.


NEVER NEVER in ur life visit the KATRIYA HOTEL IN HYDERABAD.

Such a reputed hotel, can never effort to do this kind of cheep things, i feels that who ever wrote this might have some personal ego problem or they must have expected some free stay inthe hotel, and they must have insisted for the payemnt after they proved services.
