Hotel situated right across the road from the beach in San Antonio Bay. Ideally located for evening strolls along the beach boardwalk to watch the sun go down. Also located close to a ferry stop which takes you across the bay into San Antonio itself. Rooms are very clean and practical/functional. Reception staff are excellent and can recommend many beautiful restaurants which do not seem to be published in the guidebooks. Breakfast buffet very good, but dinner buffet poor quality of food (although plenty of choice). Gym and spa facilities are over-exaggerated and poor, but this is not a hotel for spa treatment. Use the hotel as a practical and pleasant base from which to enjoy the beach/sun and venture out to explore the island and eat in the many beautiful restaurants within a walking distance or a short taxi journey. Good hotel for couples.
ProsAlmost on the beach. Quiet location (i.e. away from the noise of San Antonio town) but still within access of everything. Excellent staff. Fabulous view over the sea and for the sunset.
Consnon heated pool. not enough pool sun loungers to cope with number of guests. dinner buffet not great.
