A fantastic hotel, situated on the developing coast of Maspalomas. The nearest 'old' resort is Playa del Inglis, is quite frankly, very tired. However, this hotel is in the up-and-coming area towards Faro, which is very designer, very up-market. (NB there are two Faro's).The hotel is excellent. It is a twin hotel, in that each of the two wings mirrors the other. One wing is the Maspalomas Princess, the other goes under a different title, but all guests share the grounds and pool area. The Pool is something unique! Extensively designed pools are entered by a gentle slope from a man-made beach. The slope is great for children to splash about in (there are childrens pools too) and it is great for that gentle entry into the pool after sunbathing. Swimming from pool to pool, under bridges, stopping for a drink and meander back through the trees is brilliant.
Rooms are of a very good standard, food is excellent and the Maitre de is exceptional. Staff are very friendly.
We've been back three times, and I keep getting those 'moments' when I feel I should be there!
