Villa Beach Cottages

Villa Beach is a great place to stay in St Lucia - especially if you dont want to go all inclusive or stay at one of the big brand name hotels. Location is perfect - on a quiet sandy beach- accommodation is brilliant - huge rooms with well equipped kitchen area, large bathroom and lovely balcony. It is a short drive away from Rodney Bay in one direction and Castries in the other. Very clean - we didnt have any issues with insects/mossies - get used to the geckos - its just the way it is ! Vacationing in St Lucia was very interesting - laid back ? - they are practically horizontal. We went to watch England play in the cricket world cup - and had lots of fun - but the island infrastructure wasnt quite ready !! (altho they'd obviously tried hard). The roads are unfinished, bumpy and road signs are extremely rare ! But enjoy it - its authentic at least.
