La Casa Que Canta is simply marvelous.
My partner and I just wanted a place to relax and recharge. We found it at La Casa Que Canta.
We had the opportunity to have two different rooms. We stayed in a grand suite (no pool) for the first three nights. Gorgeous, spacious and private room on the top floor. The weather in April was perfect, a light breeze through our windows day and night. Our large balcony overlooked the bay. We enjoyed room service breakfast every morning on our balcony. Eventually we would wander down to one of the two pools, find a perfect lounger and plop down with our books. The waitstaff, always pleasant and accomodating, would bring a bucket filled with chilled bottled water and the beverage of our choice.
Ahhhhhh, just heaven.
On our final night we moved to a master suite with a pool. This room could have easily accomodated an entire family, it was enormous. And the pool....private, refreshing, ... ahhhh heaven. I don't think we left the room for 24 hours, it was just perfect. When I return it will be very hard for me to choose a room, but if my wallet can handle it, I will choose our master pool suite.
Everything about La Casa Que Canta met our needs for this getaway - it is not fussy or complicated, it is relaxing and hospitable. It is, as I imagine, staying in the home of a most gracious host. I had not a worry or care during our stay.
A couple notes:
~ The restaurant and food to be of the highest quality - wherever you choose to dine. Room service always as good as dining in the restaurant.
~ The cooking class with the La Casa Que Canta's chef was most interesting, and definitely a highlight.
~Our couples massages in the Spa were, like everything else at La Casa Que Canta, perfect.
