Lefkoniko Beach Bay Aparthotel

We arrived at the hotel at about 11:30pm, got the keys to our 2 rooms, only to be told one of the rooms was in a different hotel. Although we complained, nothing could be done that night, so we said goodnight and went to our hotel. The other hotel was below the star we had paid for and were not happy. The next morning we went over to our actual hotel for breakfast and argued for a room in the hotel. They worked something out and said we could move. Only to find we were not moved into the hotel but the apartments up the bridge over the swimming pool. My paernts who had the hotel room had a luxurious room, was very nice. However this new room we were given was more modern but had a clinical feeling, not as good as the hotel rooms. Due to being on all inclusive board basis they gave us wristbands to wear for the duration, which I think not such a good idea as it was plastic you found you scratched your skin as you were in the shower or rubbing sun tan lotion on. The food was not great as it did cater more for German's with their frankfurters in the morning. But for a lunch and dinner there was a different selection each night. The free drinks were superb, we made good use of the bar during the day and night. Also the bar snacks of a toasted sandwich seemed to get us through the say as breakfast and lunch were not very good. Bar staff were very friendly and happy, the receptionist's were grumpy.
