Detailed review
Loacted in the centre of Hong Kong - not far from HSBC and the Lippo Building and slap bang on top of Pacific Plaza Shopping mall, this was an ideal place to see the heart of the Hong Kong commercial and busines district.Such a shame then that I had no time to do this because I was here on business. However, when you have a family, you always check hotels for child friendly features and this one as with most big brand name Asian hotels looks pretty good. There is babysitting on offer, good children's menus in the restaurants and in room service and the pool looks fantastic. Being located above Pacific Place also means you are one stop away on the MRT from Central Station and from Kowloon side. There is also a big supermarket in the mall for all your urgent baby needs (and others). And there are tons of designer outlets to pamper the older members of the family. For the business traveller, the room was laid out well with all internet / power points laid out easily on top of the big desk - no need to get down on hands and knees to plug things in. Room service was quick and there was a wide variety of 24 hour dishes. The restaurants and bars were excellent and a good place to meet business associates being very centrally loacted. As for service and amenities, this was a JW Marriott and you can expect good service and friendly smiles, no matter how wet and stupid you look for having ventured out in the monsoon. (Yes I did, and was offered a towel in reception and an umbrella to use during my stay!)
Location and universally good standards of service and food.
None spring to mind.
