My review is probably influenced by the fact that there was heavy security in Jakarta at the time of my visit. You can't enter the hotel on foot, you have to be in a car which they check for bombs. Luggage is scanned & you are patted down on entering the lobby. You are also checked at the lift. having said that, I felt very safe. The hotel & rooms are very comfortable & spacious. Breakfast is excellent & it really is a haven from the city. Overall, i recommend the hotel but would probably advise to stay away from Jakarta.
