Very friendly family run hotel. Staff speak excellent English and very helpful and welcoming. Restaurant also good value for money and the place where the locals go to eat! A little disappointed with our room at the back on the first night, but Adriano immediately offered to move us to a beautiful, spacious room at the front, overlooking the lake, when it became available the next day. Only minus point was the traffic noise which was unavoidable. Otherwise excellent location very near to ferry crossing with easy access to all parts of the lake. We had an excellent walking holiday with many local routes available from the tourist office at Menaggio. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.
