Let's face it - nobody stays in an airport hotel out of choice. You generally don't expect much either. What you need is a bed for the night and maybe a wake-up call and breakfast. Some hotels do it well (Gatwick Sofitel and Heathrow Hilton come to mind). Others just, well, exist.
I'll keep this review short - if you want a bed, wake-up call and breakfast, this place ticks all the boxes. If you want someehere close to the airport, a little bit of comfort, some style and decent food, then I would plan your journey a bit better so you don't have to stay in a hotel airport.
I didn't expect much and got exactly what I expected.
The worst points were distance to the actual terminal (which was 20 mins on a "hoppa bus" which actually visited every other hotel in the area before getting to departures), and the price (GBP 180 for a single room for the night).
Not really recommended.
ProsThe staff were not impolite. That's about the best I can think of!
ConsDistance to actual airport and price
