Stunning concept - hotel is formed from a black glass pyramid which sends a very unenvironmentally friendly but vegastacular beam of light to the heavens during the night.
BUT - casino level is seedy not elegant.
Pyramid rooms are rubbish - we booked an upgraded spa suite and moved after the first night. All the spas make a racket and it being Vegas people were using them throughout the night.
Staff service was inconsistent; either very helpful and polite or evasive and downright rude (including a manager).
If you stay here forget the Pyramid - stay in one of the tower rooms on a high floor. We demanded a move there after the first night and room was great - panaramic windows, cleaner and more contemporary interior: quieter and more private; more of a sanctuary from themadness of vegas.
It does have more reasonable rates than some of the better resort hotels - so I guess you get what you pay for.
ProsTower rooms - a sactuary from vegas with greta views
ConsSome very rude staff
Pyramid rooms past there best before date
