The Mandalay Bay provides the perfect base right on the Las Vegas Strip. As you walk in you are immediately drawn to the exotic architecture. With luxury accommodation with breathtaking views either of the Strip or over looking the Hotels Beach which has been voted the best Beach in Las Vegas for many years now. I was lucky to have a bird’s eye view of the Strip and it was sensational. The room was beautifully decorated with the largest King size bed I have ever had the luxury of sleeping in. The furnishings were modern with built in wardrobes and a large LCD TV to watch at your leisure. The Bathroom on suite was top class with an enormous bath for two as well as a shower fit for a King. With the added luxury of his and her sinks with gold taps and accessories. There was also a smaller LCD TV which you could watch whilst in the bath. The Hotel has everything you could possible need from watching a live show to dancing the night away. I loved the Shark Reef which was absolutely amazing. The cuisine is mouth-watering and caters for every palate. I highly recommend the Shanghai Lilly and Fleur de lys which offers traditional French food which is delicious. Not forgetting the Casinos set out in a tropical setting with flowering waterfalls which cater for every type of player from the complete beginner to the advanced Poker player. There is so much to see and do in this resort you could easily spend a week or two here enjoying spending your well earned cash in the Mandalay shopping mall, or relaxing in the Spa. Laying on the tropical beach listening to the beat of the music surrounding by palm trees you could easily believe you were in the Caribbean rather than Las Vegas. In all I would highly recommend this Hotel and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Mandalay Bay is probably one of the most impressive hotels along the the strip in Las Vegas, it's theme is of South Sea Islands. From it's shimmering gold exterior to the elegant architectural beauty inside, this massive building won't fail to impress you. Perfect for the whole of the family and is excellent value for money considering the quality and entertainment factors. It boasts one of the largest casino's, always bustling with activity (and unlike most hotels you won't need to walk through it to get to your floor/room)to plenty of varied/highly recommended dining restaurants. Not to mention some of the hippest nightlife venues in town aswell and a good selection of shops offering a broad range of souivenners. You really well be spoilt for choice. Mandalay's theatre stars plenty of headlining acts and Broadway shows. When i was there it was a stage tribute production of Abba's "Mama Mia" which was most enjoyable. Many big named celebrities also hold sell out concerts/shows here. Children and grown ups alike will enjoy the exotic ground floor level of a fabulous man made beach and plenty of different types of pools/spa's to have fun or relax in..including a really fab wave pool. there are also a couple of bars/eaterie places. The area itself has been made to look so tropical, (beautiful water falls and palm tree's galore),it looked totally amazing. One of mandalays best entertainment spots is the Shark Reef attraction. For a small price you get the chance to get up close (behind glass of course) to not just sharks but many different varied underwater/tropical spieces. A very informative and memorable exprience. If needing to unwind the hotel offers day passe's to it's spa and there are numerous beauty/body treatments too. Fancy getting married? well there is a choice of two wedding chapels both set within an exotic island built of the shores of an 11 acre tropical lagoon. There are over 3,500 rooms there (smoking and non smoking),many of which have excellent views either on looking most of the strip at the front or MCarran airport and the hotels beach/pool resort at the back. The rooms themselves are very spacious/clean with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. All rooms have phones and internet access can be available. also it might be handy to know that there are room security safe's, big televisions(plenty of channels) and even a iron/ironing board/hangers in inbuilt wardrobes always handy for those annoyingly suitcase crumpled clothes. The glam bathrooms have huge mirrors, big jaccuzi type bath and seperate showers. the hotels towels and toiletries are always kept well stocked up. Room/maid service is excellent and reception are always pleasent and helpful too.Mandalay Bay is closest to the airport but thanks to the double glazed windows plane noise is rarely heard. being so close to the airport is of course an advantage upon arrival/departure. With the hotel right at the very start or end of the strip (whichever way you've started from) some people find this a problem thinking they'll have to walk far distance's to sight see all the other strip's hotels or all what Las Vegas has to offer. that needn't be the case though as there is a free quick mono rail from inside the hotel linking to two of mandalays sister hotels (the egyptian themed "Luxor" and castled themed "Excalibur") all owned by the same company. For a few dollars one can also purchase an all day ticket on the local bus service which picks up and drops off at anywhere along the strip and beyond from early morning to very late at night. That is my round up of all what Mandalay Bay has to offer. By far one of the much better hotels along the famous Las Vegas strip for staying in.
defitneley all the entertainment and excellent rooms.
none that i can think of.
