My husband and i stayed at The Blue which is based in Sydney last year, it was really wonderful there and if you are interested in celebs Russel Crowe stays there we actually saw him outside but we did not approach knowing of his temper!The hotel was very upmarket and was very central to everything you had the royal botanical gardens just a 5 minute walk away and the opera house about a 15 minute walk away, the food at the hotel was really awesome, there was a huge range for breakfast and their blueberry smoothies are to die for, the staff were really friendly and really went out of there way to help you. I would highly reccomend this hotel it is a excellent base and as i said is near all amenities, also just a walk around the corner in the evening and their is a famous hot dog stand were all famous people have been all their pictures are displayed eating "harrys hot dogs" and i can see why they are delicious its definitely worth a visit for a cheap night out.
