Hotel Explorers Disneyland Paris

We recently stayed at the Explorers Hotel in Disneyland Paris and we had a fantastic time.
The family room which we had was spacious it had a separate room with bunk beds for the children, there were 2 tv's one in each room.
A safe was included in all rooms. Also there was a separate toilet and shower room.
The food was of an excellent quality in all 3 restaurants.
There was an indoor swimming pool which was open all day, and staffed constantly.
The staff were friendly and spoke several languages fluently.

close to the parks on a 5-8min free shuttle bus ride, look for the pink bendy buses (no54). hotel is lovely, clean and lots to do. staff are friendly and courteous. Could be a wider choice of food at breakfast time but it is sufficient. Rooms are spacious and cleaned and made up every day. Would go back.

The Explorers Hotel is a selected hotel within the Disneyland Paris resort and offers fantastic value for money. Often all you need when going to Disney is a base as you spend most of your time in the parks but the hotel is also a mini-adventure in itself. There's loads for kids to do, from the smoke breathing dragon as you walk into the main reception area to the themed swimming pool with big water slide, indoor play area and optional playstation within your room. It's actually like a mini-holiday camp without the dodgy entertainment. There's the obligatory Disney store which is surprisingly not that expensive, and the food is fab. As we were so busy exploring the parks we only actually eat at night within the hotel once - at Marco's Pizza Parlour and it was gorgeous, definitely worth a try. The bar is open until late, as is the Pizza place and the restaurant. Breakfast is a definite must, it's a bit of a bun fight if you end up with the later slot but ask for the 7-8 slot and you'll have no problems at all, we never had a problem finding somewhere to sit, it was quiet and the food was plentiful and delicious - if you have the stomach to eat lots at breakfast then you could easily fill yoruself up and need nothing to eat until much later in the day. For those wanting a cooked breakfast you can pay a little extra for one but with what's on offer on the buffet I wouldn't bother. The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the parks by shuttle bus (free - and a bit manic) but if it's a nice day it's a definitely walkable. The only thing I'd say negative about it is that I wish it could have been on the doorstep like the Disneyland Hotel but staying just out of the parks is probably a good thing when you've spent all day being 'Disney-fied'!
