I had phoned ahead to ensure that we would have a non-smoking room, but on arrival we had not been allocated one. It was an annoying waste of time and a long distance phone call. However, the rooms were simple if a little cramped. There was an excellent hot shower and toiletries were provided. Our hotel was a short walk to the Metro and was very good for bistros and bars. A small convenience store on the corner was great for sweets and bottled water.The continental breakfast was fabulous and plentiful. Snooty front desk staff but lovely service at breakfast.
