From the second I opened the crisp curtains, that view of the river city hit me like a wave of pleasure. I spent almost half of my time at The Holiday Inn on the balcony soaking up the rays of the perfect South East Queensland weather. The staff were extremely helpful and the rooms were presented in 5 star fashion. Overall and excellent stay for long and short periods of time. Highly recommended.

I stayed in this hotel last week (Mid March 2008) for business. The service was fine, the buffet breakfast was OK but the rooms needed a good renovate and clearly showed their age.

The hotel is on the front side of the Brisbane transit centre and if your room is on the backside of the building the noise from the trains can be quite annoying.

I think for price you could find better elsewhere for the same money.
