Grand Oasis Cancun

I found this hotel a great place for all ages, its calming environment and friendly staff make for a great time to relax. Kick your feet up, soak up the sun and let someone pick up after you!

I found the maid service kept the room clean and the towels and toiletry were exchanged as needed. Privacy was respected.

Couples, singles, groups....however you travel, this hotel has got what you need.

Only downfall, was the front desk always seemed really busy for how much staff they had.

Our stay at the Grand Oasis Cancun was great.
This is what we found:
- Beautiful impressive lobby with lift
- Upon arrival at the hotel, suitcases were brought to the rooms. Personnel was not unfriendly but not very welcoming.
- Beautiful garden; lots of green with palm trees, gras, flowers and plants. Lots of birds and small animals. Wooden bridges over the pool. Several showers and in the evening the whole pool area is lit up beautifully.
- All the buildings are covered with thatched roofs
- The pool is about 450 mtr. long which meanders through the park. Because of the size of the pool, there is lots of space for deck chairs and therefore no 'booking' of deckchairs early in the morning is needed. For those who are searching peace and quiet there are quiet corners and for those who seak more entertainment, the pool bar is the place to be.
- there is no entertainment team insisting continuously to participate in all kinds of activities.
- the rooms are pretty, decorated in mexican style. big kingsize beds. Almost all rooms have sea view. Rooms (and other areas) very clean.
- loud youth groups are given rooms in a separate building because of which other guests are not disturbed.
- because of the number of restaurants (10) not every restaurant seat big numbers of guests because of which you sometimes might have to wait between 5 and 15 minutes.
- Service in the restaurants very good
- The food is excellent. The hotel is exclusively all inclusive, even the 24 hour roomservice is included. This all inclusive feels much more exclusive than the 'masses' in Turky.

All together a great holiday allthough the wheather wasn't good! We surely loved it.
