The Makadi Beach Resort provides a great all round holiday, whether you want action or just a relaxing holiday. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well designed and really comfortable. The food was superb with a fantastic selection (main buffet restaurant is themed daily. The variety was exceptional and I just got fed up of eating because it was just all too much. The hotel offers a great dining out option in the other other hotels in the resort for just 10 euro per person, ncluding a glass of wine. The diving is superb and you can snorkel just yards of the beach. The beach looks a bit of a horror when you first arrive as all the sun beds are gegimentally set out behind wicker wind breaks but actually it is extremely well planned - every one gets a space, everyone gets the sun and it allows you to sunbathe peacefully.
The evening entertainment was somehat lacking in talent but neverhtless, it was entertaining.
We travel all over the world and as far as standards go, this was one of the best 'tourist' hotels we have ever stayed in and would definitely return.
