Hilton Glasgow Hotel

I've just returned from a few days at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow and overall I have to say I enjoyed my stay. Although it's location appears to be quite central, it is in fact quite an awkward place to get to if your driving and not very convenient if you're shopping but don't let that put you off. Rooms were very clean with some nice touches in the bathrooms and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice spa and pool. I tried their New York style restaurant Minsky's during my stay and the food was marvelous. The bar prices were VERY expensive (£17.95 for a glass of wine, a beer and a Bacardi & coke..ouch!)so I wouldn't recommend spending much time there..! Check your bill before you leave as there were lots of problems (not just me) with room service being added to the wrong rooms. Although there were a few problems I would go back to the Hilton as I found it quite relaxing overall.
