My husband and I spent a week at the Calimera in May. We both had a great time and would go back anytime. The hotel is clean, the rooms spacious and comfortable, the staff go out of their way to help you, a good choice of drinks and food (buffet). There are 3 pools, all kept immaculately (but the water cold). The beach is fabulous.The diving is out of this world and to be highly recommended! We had a really great time. We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves and would have loved to stay another week.

When you book a 5 star hotel, you have certain expectations but believe me this hotel is not 5 stars worthy... I would say 3 max.The pool area is old and dirty (the deck chairs rusty, the cushions old), the rooms are ok but the bath rooms disgusting.No variety as far as meals is concerned.We did some nice excursions and we might go back to Egypt but definitely not to this hotel.
