Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa

Good service, relaxing atmosphere and beautiful location. This was our first visit to the Caribbean (and a Sandals hotel). We chose this hotel because it is for couples only, and we were not disappointed. We booked a concierge suite which meant that we had a fully stocked bar in the room (anything we wanted, we only had to ask)and there was a pool right outside our block which meant we could make our own drinks to relax by the pool.
The only downside was the new part of the hotel with a fabulous new swimming pool and four more restaurants was not open and we had been told it would open in February 2007.
However it did not spoil our holiday and we would definitely consider a Sandals hotel if we visit the Caribbean again.

Beautiful beach and the hotel was nice. The food on the other hand wasn't as good as we had expected. (they seem to import everything from Miami) If you are staying for 2 weeks it gets boring!
Staff where friendly & the trips were good. The views over Nelson's Dockyard are breath taking & the Dockyard itself was lovely.
We would go back again but would stay at another hotel as the food really let it down for us.
