While the staff was fairly cordial, they were also fairly incompetent. Our first room smelled so bad that we did not even move in to it. The second room, which was better, had hair in the tub, broken light fixtures, an electrical socket that would not work, and the dust that was on the TV shelf was never touched during our 8 day stay. We had to consistently ask for towels (only two and sometimes only one wash rag) The area is very suspect. There is a mix of remodeled buildings being turned into condos, abandoned buildings and the elevated expressway out front. There is trolley system (great) that is about a block and a half away.
