The staff of the San Cassiano Ca Favretto is wonderful and welcoming people making the hotel a very English friendly place. The hotel sits perched on the Grande Canal with stunning views and is only a short walk from both the fish market, with its freshly caught stock, and the Rialto Bridge. You will find that they are always willing to help you out when getting your bearings of the city.
The interior of the hotel is stunning with its old, and new, art and chandeliers. Each room has its own personality and the breakfast is to die for. They cater for everyone’s taste in the morning with a large array of different foods for your breakfast that will truly set you up for the day ahead.
On the balcony you can sit with a nice cold glass of wine and just watch the boats go by in peace and if you want a bit of culture, the Museum of Oriental Art right next door.
And if you fancy a drink without leaving your room, the mini-bar is no more expensive than the bar itself. They even let my mother have a free little champagne on her birthday.
The best hotel I've stayed in.
ProsYou really get service with a smile, the maid even sat my teddy up on the bed once it was made.
