One of the best beaches of Mauritius

Our board meeting was held this time at the Sugar Beach. The hotel is closing down soon for renovation and will be re-opened before the end of the year. It surely will be stunning. The hotel is located on one of the best beaches of Mauritius and is very extended. The food was very very good and although the room was a bit tired and the bathroom desperately needs that refurbishing, it was still all kept rather well.

Great for Kids

We spent a lovely weekend at Sugar Beach with our 2 children (2 & 4). The ground floor room that led out onto the beach was a great size with 2 enormous beds & plenty of space around for the children to play. The bathroom was equally generous with a separate shower cubicle & toilet.

We checked the kids into the Kids Club which was air conditioned (well done to the Management!) & they played in the "Hansel & Gretel" style thatched cottage. The staff were friendly & the medals & fun pack our children received for attending the club a definite winner! The outside area of the Kids Club has a fantastic climbing apparatus which will keep children of all ages interested. We ordered their evening meal to be served at the Club - another bonus!

Otherwise, this Colonial Style hotel was great value with friendly staff & plenty of open lawned spaces for children of all ages to run about without disturbing other guests. The usual water and sports activities were on offer as well as excursions outside the hotel. We were just too lazy to try any!

Fantastic

A very frienndly and clean hotel. Located on the beach. Excellent facilities for families. Highly recommended.

Very Comfortable

I found the hotel to be a great place to stay, from the courteous check in staff, through to the comfortable rooms. This along with its great position and pristine beaches, makes it a must to stay at.
