Hotel Bristol Vienna

5 Star Service

This was a lovely, elegant, antique filled 5 star hotel and the service was excellent. Directly opposite the famous Opera House along the Ringstrasse, this hotel was central to all that stylish Vienna has to offer. Upon our early arrival, we were greeted by complimentary coffee and a pastry, which was very nice indeed. We had a small problem with the air conditioning while there and reported it directly after breakfast on the first full day. By lunchtime the aircon was fixed and abundant apologies were offered. When we checked out a few days later, we were delighted to note that we had not been charged for the exquisite meal we had eaten in the Hotel that evening, as compensation for the inconvenience (it was February - not much of a convenience not to have air con when it is 0 degrees outside). All the food was absolutely delicious and only the finest cuts of meat and freshest fruit and vegetables were served by the speedy, efficient and polite staff. Our room was large and very grand and room service was fast and exact, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.
