Like most things Swiss, it is hard to heap much criticism on this hotel. Everything works and does what it is meant to do, yet I felt quite detached from this hotel. The rooms are fairly spacious, with a 'winter garden' (a small balcony which fits a chair). Slighly tired, they are in slight need of renovation. The staff are friendly. Pool is olypmic size and I was the only one who ever used it when I was there. The gym is small but functional and the sauna is good but strangely seemed to be open to non-residents (i.e. locals) when I stayed! This is the best hotel in Zug, so if you are here for business or here for the mountains, this is as good as it gets. I just can't get too excited about it.
