I would like to book a hotel ; can I do this through Vinivi ?
Not directly.
Vinivi is neither a travel agent, nor a booking agency. But you can book through our partners (travel agents, tour operators or travel search engines), using the links on top of hotels pages.
What kind of information will you not find on Vinivi ?
The booking of a hotel room or stay
Vinivi does not take any booking and has no commercial relationship with hotels. That is our warranty of objectivity

Referenced accommodation
Does Vinivi select the hotels that are referenced ?
No. Vinivi references all hotels in all countries. You can also find the hotel about which you'd like to share an experience or of which you'd like to find reviews of others. However, we are not infallible. It is therefore possible to add a hotel or another kind of accommodation, this is free of charge
I do not see a hotel that I know. Can I add it ?
Yes. And this is free of charge

May I contact an accommodation directly ?
Yes. Vinivi puts all information at your fingertips: you can contact a hotel directly, if it decided to show these informations. However, very often, booking through a travel professional (travel agency, tour operator or online booking engine) will enable you to get better rates. For these agencies it is possible to offer better rates because of the volume of business that they do with a certain establishment. It is up to you to make your choice.

Yes. Simply click on the link at the bottom of the information section. Thank you for helping Vinivi updating the information and for contributing to the quality of this community.
Can anyone write a review ?
Can anyone write a review ?
Yes. If the review is in accordance with our Terms & Conditions, it will be published on Vinivi and made available to the community. As every review will be reread and the email address verified before publication, we thank you for your patience.
What stops a hotel owner to write very good reviews about his hotel ?
You and Us According to our Terms & Conditions, he is not supposed to do so. Said this, the reviews are re-read before publication and special procedures have been put in force so as to find any problem. If we find about a fake review, a special notice will be done on the hotel page and all reviews will be closed. At the same time, someone who has stayed at the hotel and does not agree with a review is able to give his reaction on it. It is the power of the community: what one misses, the other one can get it!

If a hotel does not like a review, can it be taken off?
No. If the review respects our Terms & Conditions, it will stay published on Vinivi. The accommodation is entitled to reply, which will also be published on Vinivi. Other travelers of the community will also be able to give their point of view.

What is the difference between a review and a comment?
At any time you can write a review about the services of any hotel by clicking on the button 'add a review' on the hotel pages or on the homepage.
But you can also leave your comment on a review in order to get an answer to a question that you find important, you can make a suggestion or evenask for advice. The person who has written the review will receive your comment and can reply. The comments are also read before validation.
Visits
How does your visit take place ?
People from Vinivi book into a hotel. They use all the amenities (Spa, Baby-sitting, restaurants, sports.), take note of their observations according to distinctive criteria and take photos. Subsequently they write a report published on Vinivi.
Is Vinivi paid to write a spotlight?
No. There are 2 possibilities :
. we pay for the stay at the hotel or,
. the hotel invites us.
In the second case, the hotel also invites you by giving one week free stay. This free stay is the prize of a lucky draw we do among reviewers.
