Rose Garden Riverside Hotel

This hotel offers a great Thai Cultural & Elephant Show on site. Set in truly beautiful landscaped gardens on the edge of the Ta Chine river, the hotel is just 30km from Bangkok but feels like a world away. If you enjoy plants you will find rare specimens here. You can spend a morning wandering around the traditional Thai village & see traditional crafts like pottery, painting, flower-garland making, vegetable carving & cooking. The cultural & elephant show takes place in the afternoon. Our children loved the elephant rides! We then enjoyed a cooking demonstration & helped make traditional Thai food - fantastic! There are traditional Thai teak houses around the lake that you can stay in & even a children's playground. If you play golf you can do that too! We took a boat up river & fed some fish which our children loved. Our suite was pefect. Spacious with fridge & views on 2 sides along the river. The 2 restaurants served great Thai food as well as international cuisine. The hotel is family run & was a perfect introduction for our children to Thailand. There is a spa which boasts some wonderful treatments that wont cost the earth. We plan to go back! Great for older & younger visitors alike.
